Local groups benefit from community grants
15 October 2009
Ten Cranbourne community groups have received a much-needed financial boost following the recent night's announcement of the 2009 The Hunt Club Community Fund grant recipients.
The Hunt Club Community Fund is an annual initiative by the estate's project manager, the Dennis Family Corporation. The Fund provides financial support to community groups operating in the 3977 postcode and has donated almost $100,000 to numerous local, not-for-profit organisations over the past eight years.
"We received many applications from a diverse array of worthwhile organisations and our independent judging panel had a difficult time choosing this year's successful recipients," says Adele Levinge, Executive Director, Dennis Family Corporation.
Congratulations to the recipients of the 2009 The Hunt Club Community Fund:
The Hunt Club is an HIA GreenSmart accredited estate located in Cranbourne 45 minutes south east of the Melbourne CBD. Residents enjoy a wide range of amenities right on their doorstep such as Class A recycled water, Telstra VelocityŽ, a childcare centre, two wetlands, several parks, open spaces and bicycle pathways, a rail-link bus service and from 2011 the Cranbourne East P-12 School will open.
